choices choices...

I've worked for Solera for 3 1/2 years now, & I am so thankful that i've had a steady & stable job for so long when so many people were struggling to find one. I have been driving so far to get to work since we moved to maricopa, & as much as I love working there, i might be getting a new job in maricopa at a dental office. The commute would be way better & their office hours are more convienant for my schedule. I am considering going to school so i can further my education, & if i work at this new office i would have more time to focus on schooling. I dropped off my resume last friday & with in two hours they had called me wanting to set up an interveiw. Its on monday & i am so nervous & excited. Leaving my current job will be so hard, buut ocverall i think a better choice & a good change. wish me luck... :)

Pros:
Less driving = gas money
More time to get things done during day b/c of hours
Able to go home for lunch
Able to get home to baxter to let him out
New experience
More pay?
Less responsibilities

Cons:
Leaving friends here at work
Hard to say good bye
The dentist trained me, so it will be a huge change to work with a different dentist

** overall, if i get hired, my choice is made up. :( :/ :) .... i think....

  1. That would be so much fun BettyJo (getting together to coupon clip/save some serious cash!)...I saved $8 today on groceries with coupons! Not a whole lot to start, but I was pretty wise with the coupons (I only cut coupons for items we use regularly)...I discovered too that you have to be careful - for instance I had a $2 coupon for toothpaste, but another brand's regular price was cheaper than the discounted toothpaste...so I went with the off brand and still saved money. I really like the Krazy Coupon Lady's coupon database though and plan to use it again for my next shopping trip! Meal planning is a great way to go for savings...I used to spend $300 a month on groceries without planning...now I'm down to $200 (much less food waste) and with the coupons, I'm hoping to cut it back another $50 per month.

  2. yes! i LOVE saving, it makes it so much more fun to grocery shop b/c if you wanna use the extra money you would've spent, on something else you can. Like pedicures - my guilty pleasure! let me know when your free & we can meet up!! :)
