Weekend Trip to Greer

Stephen's Grandma & Grandpa Stepan were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this past weekend in Greer at a local HUGE cabin they rented & all the family was in town. Overall we had an enjoyable weekend. The weather was so nice & it was a blast laughing and hanging out with family. I got some really cute pictures. 

Did i forget to mention... STEPHEN GOT A JOB!! It is a position in the Mutual Funds Department. We are SO excited that he will finally be using his degree & get his foot in the door with some experience. 

We are thrilled to be home & able to sleep in our own bed! (We slept on some hard mattress' this trip).

 This is Stephen's Grandparent's place in ShowLow. We stayed there Saturday night w/ his Mom & Step-dad.

Blake & Heidy's Wedding

This weekend we went to Flagstaff to attend Blake & Heidy's wedding. Stephen was one of the best men. It was fun seeing them & enjoying the gorgeous weather.

 i made cookies tonight & they were so yummy! i used a recipe katy had given me & it never fails! Mmmmmm

 Stephen got his X Box back. It was broken & so he sent it in to get fixed & sadly, the one they just sent was broke too. He was not happy after he opened up the package. It took 3 weeks for him to get it back & so he is not too happy about maybe having to wait longer.. boys & their video games..

New Goal

i made a goal to start & finish the book of mormon! i am so excited & have been staying strong now for a couple of days. i have been writing in my journal too & it feels so good to be back on track doing my best! for me, its hard to stick to goals, especially any that have to do with reading, but i am going to accomplish this one!

Stephen has been trying to convince me to go to the doctor, just for a physical. Its been years since I last went for a general exam & I hate going. I hate everything about being at the doctors office. He knows this & so yesterday we were talking & this was his argument...

Stephen: people who have a good doctor, are happier in life.

Then he continued to say, as I looked at him confused with out saying a word...

Stephen: Did i make that up? yes. but I don't care.

We laughed for ever it seemed like. I couldn't breathe I was laughing so hard. I Love that he makes me laugh.

i was at my moms the other day & we/she made the cutest "banner", made out of scrap book paper & thread, just stitched together. i finally put it up & love it !

Tonight we went to a Diamond Backs Game & had a lot of fun. We went to a yummy resturant called, "Carmen's Bistro". We tried the calzones. We ended our night at Bahama Bucks, tho I was disapointed... No unbrella was in my ice & No mound on top. it made me sad, but Stephen's smiling face made it all better. xo
